Team Runway is the central change management and deployment team in the Village. We partner with teams to create and deploy efficient and effective change initiatives that drive our most important Village objectives, including Schedule Hub and other projects.
The Team Runway Transition Lead will provide support for various project deployments using process improvement and change management methodologies. This individual is expected to support end users to use the new applications and adopt new facility processes competently and confidently while supporting them to move through the change curve.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. A successful individual will operate with a high-level of emotional intelligence, patience, technological savvy and the ability to educate the users on new functionality and benefits of Schedule Hub and other projects.
The role of the Team Runway Deployment Lead will generally include (but is not limited to):
- Adhere to change management and deployment plans, and executing on key implementation T- activities
- Communicate clearly to all end users and executive leaders with strong presentation, communication and instruction and presentation skills.
- Partner with the Runway Project Team to execute deployment strategies and distribute collateral to drive the project implementation and adoption.
- Drive completion of all deployment activities and engagement from leadership to ensure a successful deployment of the new initiatives.
- Facilitate live, in-person training curricula and virtual workshops
- Serve as the first point of contact for Field Leadership and FAs (end users)
- Contribute to tracking feedback and escalating appropriately as needed
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION
Deployment Support: Support assigned DaVita RODs, staff FAs, (Registered Nurses (RNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurses (LVNs/LPNs)) pre-, during, and post- Go Live
- Onsite or on-call support for high-touch programs in region/cost center
- Respond to teammate training, technical and process needs, and exercise independent decision-making to problem solve on the spot or determine necessary course of escalation
- Provide ongoing support and additional training as needed
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for documentation, deployment, and implementation questions
- Responsible for the successful completion of all training activities for teammates in assigned training group
Training: Deliver project curricula to assigned teammates during live training opportunities
- Support assigned teammates pre-, during, and post- Go Live
- Provide ongoing support and additional training as needed
- Reinforce behaviors and proper application usage
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for project
- Responsible for the successful completion of all deployment and training activities for assigned deployment wave(s)
Change Management: Work with Runway Project Team to execute on various elements of change management methodology
- Engage with field partners to explain, gather, and report feedback.
- Share findings from feedback to influence or adapt the change approach.
Project Management:
- Effectively manage time and task completion with minimal support and oversight.
- Submit reports and deliverables in a timely fashion.
- Manage a plan and integrate across work streams.
Written & Oral Communication / Building Relationships: Easily builds rapport within and is collaborative and an informal influencer.
- Navigate cross functional relationships effectively
- Develops strong relationships across project lanes (IT, operations, clinical, learning and development, change management and deployment)
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree (Any Field)
- Healthcare background
- DaVita Registered Nurse
- Training experience
- 1-2 years of experience participating in Change Management/Organizational Development related project work
- PROSCI or other Change Management Certificate
- Registered Nurse
