Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least 2 years of accounts payable experience is required, preferably in construction or a related industry.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Word, is required.
- Proficiency in English is required.
Responsibilities
- Enter customer and vendor invoices in QuickBooks.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or payment issues.
- Maintain accurate job costing records and code invoices to appropriate projects.
- Maintain organized filing systems for invoices, purchase orders, and payment documentation.
- Process progress payments and retention releases.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and account reconciliations.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status.
- Perform miscellaneous administrative duties.
Desired Qualifications
- An Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
- Accounts payable experience in construction or a related industry is preferred.
