Modern Animal is on a mission to bring Humanity back to veterinary medicine – within our company and for the industry at large. We’re looking for an Instructional Designer to join us to operationalize organizational learning and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our training initiatives.
This role will partner with team members on the People Development & Engagement team to produce high-quality, engaging learning experiences that align with the best practices of adult learning theory and instructional design principles. The Instructional Designer will work with subject matter experts to create learning content that helps teams improve their skills and grow their careers at Modern Animal. This role will create content in a variety of formats, including eLearnings, job aids, videos, instructor-led content, facilitator guides, and workshops and will ensure consistency of training materials relating to company branding and style, as well as content accuracy.
A key measure of success for this role is delivering educational content that creates measurable behavioral changes through highly engaging and targeted design. This work will allow our clinics to scale quickly and efficiently while supporting the culture at Modern Animal.
This role reports directly to the Director of People Development & Engagement and will work from our headquarters in Culver City, CA, with flexibility for remote work during set days of the week.
The pay range for this position is $69,000-$99,000 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and equity grant units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the California Pay Transparency Act. Base pay information is based on geographic location.
