Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Ideate, plan, execute, and analyze experiments in a BSL-2 lab in support of solving challenging problems related to the development of an in vitro diagnostic biochemical assay for the identification and antibiotic susceptibility testing (ID/AST) of bacteria
  • Manage and lead a small (1-2) team of direct reports composed of associate scientists and research associates: providing guidance for experimental design and corresponding task allocation
  • Discover or develop new techniques that increase scientific throughput and insights for the whole team
  • Use data and analysis to support scientific decisions and to communicate to adjacent teams
  • Collaborate with other multi-disciplinary teams (including Manufacturing, Clinical, Chemistry, and Engineering)
