- A current New York State Registered Nurse license is required.
- At least one year of recent hands-on experience is required.
- Basic Life Support certification is required.
- A current, valid New York State driver's license and personal transportation are required.
- Knowledge of hospice concepts, philosophy, policies, and procedures is required.
- Provide end-of-life nursing care to hospice patients at home.
- Provide nursing care to hospice patients, residents, and families in their home setting.
- Focus on symptom management and pain control.
- Travel throughout Baldwin, Elmont, Manhasset, Mineola, Valley Stream, and surrounding areas.
- Prior experience in home care, hospice, and/or oncology is preferred.
