Requirements
  • 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, with expertise in Salesforce administration, automation, and Apex development.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model, including profiles, roles, sharing rules, and field-level security.
  • Proven experience integrating Salesforce with tools like Gong, Outreach, Gainsight, and other GTM applications using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (e.g., Mulesoft, Workato, Fivetran), and native connectors.
  • Expertise in declarative automation tools (Flow, Process Builder, Validation Rules) and Apex development (triggers, batch classes, future methods, and scheduled jobs).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex Salesforce issues, optimizing performance and reducing system inefficiencies.
  • Experience managing large datasets, implementing data governance best practices, and performing advanced data manipulation using SOQL and Salesforce Data Loader.
  • Ability to lead system enhancement projects, working closely with RevOps, Sales Ops, and IT teams to align Salesforce with business needs.
  • Mentorship experience, with a passion for coaching junior team members and fostering professional growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically about long-term system improvements.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the administration and optimization of Salesforce, ensuring system stability, security, and scalability.
  • Architect and manage integrations between Salesforce and GTM tools such as Gong, Outreach, Gainsight, and other sales/customer success platforms, leveraging APIs, middleware, and automation tools.
  • Design, build, and maintain advanced automation solutions using Flows, Process Builder, and Apex (Triggers, Batch, and Scheduled Jobs) to enhance system efficiency and streamline business processes.
  • Develop and optimize Apex code, including triggers, classes, and Lightning Components, ensuring best practices and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues, providing expert-level support and working cross-functionally with Sales Ops, RevOps, IT, and Engineering teams.
  • Drive data governance initiatives, ensuring data integrity through deduplication strategies, validation rules, and scheduled data hygiene processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce configurations and custom development solutions.
  • Lead and mentor junior analysts, providing technical guidance and helping them develop skills in Salesforce administration, automation, and development.
  • Monitor and enhance system performance, proactively identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and technical debt.
  • Stay up-to-date on Salesforce releases, evaluating new features and implementing relevant improvements.
  • Develop technical documentation, including system architecture, integration designs, and process workflows.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, DevOps processes, and version control systems (e.g., Gearset, Copado, Git) is a plus.
  • Salesforce certifications preferred, such as Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer.

The round included participation from Andreessen Horowitz's a16z speedrun, Deel, The Perseverance Fund, StandUp Ventures and AltaIR Capital, with several existing clients investing as angel investors. The Ottawa and San Francisco-based company uses agentic AI to help finance teams move from data to decisions faster. Its platform deploys specialised agents that analyse financial models, evaluate forecast assumptions and assess scenario performance in real time, delivering structured analysis in minutes. Pluvo was selected for a16z speedrun from over 19,000 applicants and is an alumnus of Alchemist Accelerator. The funding will expand its agentic analysis engine, deepen system integrations and grow its product team.

Sphinx raises $7.1M to deploy browser-native AI agents for AML and KYC compliance work

Sphinx has raised $7.1 million in seed funding led by Cherry Ventures to scale its browser-native AI agents for compliance work in financial institutions. Y Combinator, Rebel Fund, Deel Ventures and Singularity Capital participated in the round. The startup offers AI agents that work directly within existing compliance tools to handle anti-money laundering, know your customer and know your business processes. The agents operate inside case management platforms, portals and dashboards without requiring system integrations, enabling deployment within days. Founded by Alexandre Berkovic and Chrisjan Wüst, Sphinx claims its agents have processed millions of alerts across over a dozen regions.
