Job Description:
Position Summary
This position is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and support of IT and operation technology systems across our operations and production facilities. As a key liaison between the Andersons Information Services and operations teams, the Operations Technology Manager will ensure seamless integration of technology solutions that optimize production efficiency, security, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support IT systems across plant production environments, ensuring agreed to levels of uptime and reliability
Lead IT strategy and execution by developing technology roadmaps, overseeing system upgrades, and implementing solutions that align with the company’s operational goals
Collaborate with business units to define key priorities, troubleshoot technical issues, and support production-related IT challenges, minimizing disruptions to operations
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements, including monitoring operations technology systems for vulnerabilities and coordinating regular security audits and disaster recovery tests
Coordinate vendor relationships for solutions, negotiating contracts, and evaluating services to optimize costs and performance
Oversee technology projects, including system migrations, technology rollouts, and the integration of new IT platforms, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment to budget
Develop and monitor performance metrics for IT systems, track system performance, and implement improvements for increased efficiency and reliability

Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree required
5-7 years of management experience in operational technology discipline required
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Physical Requirements and Working Environment
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer
10-20% travel may be required
