Joining Collibra’s Tax team
Collibra is looking for a Global Indirect Tax Manager to join our growing team and help manage the processes needed to support the rapid growth at the company. In this new role, you will report to the Tax Director based in the US, and partner with multiple stakeholders to provide timely analysis, guidance, and leadership to ensure good standing across all tax jurisdictions that we operate. Global Indirect Tax Manager’s at Collibra are responsible for:
- Manage indirect tax compliance and work with external advisors to ensure all compliance obligations are met on a timely basis
- Preparation and review of monthly indirect tax calculation, reconciliations of related general ledger tax accounts, and filing of periodic indirect tax tax returns
- Serve as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders on the technical requirements related to indirect tax matters
- Manage indirect tax controversies including audits, notices and VDAs
- Assist with the design, implementation, execution and maintenance of indirect tax processes and controls
You have:
- At least 6 years of indirect tax technical experience with global VAT/GST and exposure to US sales and use tax
- Experience with large multinational company and/or public accounting firm experience (Big 4 experience a plus)
- System savvy and ability to work with different applications and databases; experience with NetSuite and/or Avalara a plus
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent work experience; Advanced degree in accounting and/or tax is a plus

- Able to communicate fluently in English; other languages including Dutch and French a plus
Measures of success are:
- Within your first month, you will have a good understanding of Collibra’s global structure and resulting compliance and reporting obligations
- Within your third month, you will have jumped into some key initiatives and have a good working understanding of Collibra’s systems and data sources available to you
- Within your sixth month, you will be driving the indirect tax compliance calendar and take ownership of indirect tax processes and manage relationships with external advisors.
Compensation for This Role
The standard base salary range for this position is $116,000 - $160,000 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.
