Requirements
  • Master's degree in a clinical field.
  • Clinical licensure.
  • 2 years of relevant experience required.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, organizational and facilitation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of industry trends, best practices as they relate to the delivery of high quality and safe health care.
  • Strong project management experience and experience using variety of quality tools (e.g., DMAIC, Lean Six Sigma, PDSA).
  • Demonstrate solid history of achieving results with complex and dynamic teams.
  • Strong computer skills, including basic knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to learn new systems software.
Responsibilities
  • Independently leads multiple, broad-scope, highly complex process/quality improvement initiatives in the designated area(s) of responsibility.
  • Identify and implement strategic and service-line specific quality initiatives that support all levels of patient care within the organization.
  • Develop and execute multifaceted, service line- and area-specific strategies for clinical quality improvement and quality program monitoring and evaluation, including adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Ensure consistency and rigor in assessing performance toward quality metrics, leading the development of gap closure strategies in collaboration with clinical leadership.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions to complex problems, communicating difficult concepts and influencing leadership decision-making on topics that positively impact clinical outcome goals.
  • Leverage process/quality improvement tools and frameworks, change management strategies, and data analysis skills, as well as strong leadership, coaching, and project management skills to influence meaningful, data-driven change.
  • Lead the clinical performance improvement process, including identification, prioritization, and coordination of iterative improvements and implementation efforts.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of change management and improvement strategies and revise them as needed to achieve target clinical goals and outcomes.
  • Identify and prioritization of clinical quality improvement gaps/opportunities and target goals based on comparative clinical data, including internal and external benchmarking.
  • Facilitate process improvement data collection, analysis, evaluation, and report dissemination.
  • Seek out and leverage evidence based best practice to inform service line specific action plans.
  • Develop large scope, precedent setting processes and clinical performance improvement mechanisms leading to best practices for clinical quality outcomes within the designated areas.
  • Coordinate communication within and between multidisciplinary key collaborators and stakeholders; ensure appropriate consultation and education regarding data analysis and improvement opportunities; identify, recommend, and implement improvement plans that move toward target clinical goals.

  • 4-6 years of relevant healthcare quality management experience preferred
