Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree, master’s in business administration is preferable
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in HR partnering with significant experience in Compensation and Benefits
  • Hands on experience in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and HRIS platforms (i.e., Workday)
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the local HR Business Leader to assist in implementing the human resources strategy across the organization.
  • Model and reinforce Takeda’s culture by ensuring that HR practices are aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Support and advise managers and employees with annual HR-processes including goal setting, performance reviews, talent review and performance & reward calibration. Conduct any follow-up actions resulting from annual processes.
  • Provide input on HR-related issues, providing insights on workforce planning, organizational design, and employee development.
  • In partnership with local HR Leader, manage compensation process for functional groups to include equity assessment, job description creation and leveling job roles.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure recruiting and hiring strategies, consistent communication and implementation of HR-best practices across assigned functional groups. Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs and support recruitment efforts.
  • Help improve the onboarding process to ensure a positive candidate experience and connecting them to Takeda’s culture and values.
  • Leverages organizational toolkits and communication channels to promote awareness, facilitate discussions provide training on HR initiatives, professional development, career pathing, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, etc. as needed.
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze trends in turnover, hiring, promotions, separations and grievances to determine support or action needed to adjust unfavorable trends; Partner with HR Leadership team to implement appropriate approaches, processes and tools.
  • Work with internal partners such as Global Mobility, Legal, Compliance, and PAG (People advisory group) to resolve employee issues as appropriate.
  • Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, culture, and retention.
