Requirements
  • Bachelor degree with 2+ years of industry experience working on software development for signal processing applications or a masters degree with a focus on signal processing or communication systems
  • 3+ years of experience in developing C/C++ applications with a focus on algorithm design
  • Good fundamentals in signal processing, probability theory, mathematics, and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Experience with quantitative data analysis and simulation software (Matlab preferred)
  • Willingness to learn, ability to communicate well, and demonstrate healthy drive and energy to understand and solve complex system-level problems
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop signal processing, detection, and optimization algorithms in C++ in production software and simulation platforms
  • Translate floating-point models to fixed-point for optimal implementation on ARM processors and FPGAs
  • Be involved in all stages of algorithm development including data collection, analysis, development, and test
  • Participate in the team's development processes, including requirements and design documentation, test-plan generation and execution, peer design and code reviews, process feedback, and improvements
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working on simulation platforms to model hardware systems
  • Worked on fixed-point algorithm implementation on low-end processors
  • Knowledge of advanced signal processing algorithms for radar/lidar/communication systems
  • Experience working on point cloud processing and filtering
