- Strong Programming experience in Java is required. Should be hands-on Java experience - NO EXCEPTIONS
- Experience working with cucumber framework BDD, CucumberJVM
- Strong SQA / testing experience
- Experience with Automation testing tool - Selenium Web Driver
- Basic knowledge of SQL and/or any RDBMS
- Hands on experience with API and JSON
- Awareness to Software Development and Testing lifecycle
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
- The ideal candidate must have 6 to 10 years of automation experience using Selenium WebDriver is a MUST
- Experience either with commercial tools or open source tools (preferably both)
- You have to be comfortable as a consultant, and have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
- Ability to write selenium scripts using Java
- Define test cases based on the project requirements
- Experience in Git
- Guide team members and help them with technical/QA related issues
- Be a mentor to new automation engineers, conduct training and train them
- Knowledge of Perl and Unix Shell Scripting is desirable
- Strong knowledge of build/deployment automation and continuous integration highly desirable
- Strong communication and problem solving skills desired
