Responsibilities
  • Design and own enterprise data governance frameworks, standards, and data quality rules for the Skills, Tasks, and Job Architecture domains.
  • Translate governance decisions and policy updates into usable, consistent, and actionable data assets across the Skills, Tasks, and Job Architecture domains.
  • Document and maintain approved data definitions and data quality rules for Skills, Tasks, and Job Architecture data.
  • Ensure the data catalogue is complete, accurate, and continuously up to date, including definitions, ownership, lineage, sensitivity classification, and data quality rules.
  • Classify data assets, including sensitivity classification, in compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage data sharing agreements for cross-domain data exchanges involving Skills, Tasks, and Job Architecture data.
  • Ensure Job Architecture data consistency and alignment across global regions and functions.
  • Design and run the data quality check framework across source systems and the Data Foundation by defining rules, ownership, review cycles, and escalation paths.
  • Drive proactive data quality campaigns across Skills, Tasks, and Job Architecture data domains by identifying poor-quality data patterns, designing targeted remediation campaigns, and coordinating execution at scale.
  • Investigate root causes of systemic data issues across Workday and translate findings into corrective governance actions and campaign-based remediation efforts.
  • Monitor data quality trends over time and use insights to improve data quality rules, checks, and governance standards.
  • Enable Skills, Tasks, and Job Architecture data for the Data Foundation and serve as the key subject-matter expert to the Data Foundation team within the assigned scope.
  • Ensure data consistency, lineage, and traceability from source systems through to the Data Foundation.
  • Own the SkyHive interface on the technical lineage and data catalog side by maintaining Workday-to-SkyHive data-feed lineage documentation, cataloging SkyHive data assets in Informatica CDGC, and governing the technical data sharing agreement for the SkyHive integration.
  • Support AI and analytics initiatives through proper data classification and standardization.
  • Ensure data governance frameworks support current and future AI usage of Skills, Tasks, and Job Architecture data.
  • Build knowledge content on data governance and classification for AI initiatives and employees across the organization.
  • Analyze local Workday rules, validations, and configurations that affect global standardization efforts for Skills, Tasks, and Job Architecture data.
  • Identify where local configurations block the cloning or deployment of global standard configurations.
  • Separate legal and compliance constraints from legacy or preference-based local rules to support informed global standardization decisions.
  • Serve as the global point of contact for data governance, data classification, and data catalog matters across Skills, Tasks, and Job Architecture data.
  • Drive adoption of global data standards across regions and functions.
  • Train and support Local Data Champions across regions and business units.
  • Support the Data & Insights Team and analysts on relevant data matters to enable trusted reporting and analytics.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Team on data configuration matters and align system configurations with data governance standards.
Desired Qualifications
  • Workday certification in HCM, Financial Management, or related modules.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK and DCAM.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML data requirements and data preparation processes.

InduPro raises $77M Series B, doses first patient in Phase 1 trial of bispecific ADC for lung cancer

InduPro has closed a $77 million Series B financing round and dosed its first patient in a Phase 1 study of IDP-001, its lead oncology programme. The biotechnology company is developing IDP-001, a bispecific antibody-drug conjugate targeting EGFR and a novel tumour-associated proximity antigen, for treating advanced squamous non-small cell lung cancer and other solid tumours. The Column Group led the financing round, with participation from Vida Ventures, MRL Ventures Fund, Emerson Collective, Euclidean Capital, Solasta Ventures, Sanofi, and Eli Lilly and Company. Proceeds will support Phase 1 clinical development and early proof-of-concept data generation for IDP-001, whilst advancing InduPro's broader preclinical pipeline. InduPro uses a proximity-guided platform to map protein spatial relationships on cell surfaces for discovering selective co-target pairs.

Scribe Therapeutics prices upsized $129M IPO at top of range

Scribe Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing in vivo CRISPR technologies, has priced its upsized initial public offering at $15.00 per share, the high end of its range. The company is offering 8,580,000 shares, expecting to raise $128.7 million in gross proceeds before fees and expenses. Scribe has also granted underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,287,000 additional shares. The shares are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Global Market on 24 July 2026 under the ticker symbol "SCTX", with the offering closing on 27 July 2026. Additionally, Scribe has agreed to sell 500,000 shares at the same price to Sanofi in a concurrent private placement. Leerink Partners, Goldman Sachs, Guggenheim Securities, and Wells Fargo Securities are serving as joint book-running managers.

Sanofi's Sarclisa Escena approved in US as first anticancer drug delivered via on-body injector

The US Food and Drug Administration has approved Sanofi's subcutaneous Sarclisa Escena for treating multiple myeloma, making it the first anticancer treatment administered through an on-body injector. The therapy uses Enable Injections' CirCLIQ device, which delivers the drug automatically with a retractable 30g needle. The approval was supported by the IRAKLIA phase 3 study, which demonstrated that Sarclisa Escena delivered via the on-body injector provided similar efficacy and safety compared to intravenous infusion, with significantly shorter treatment time and fewer infusion-related reactions. The study showed a 71.1% objective response rate in patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. More than 70,000 patients worldwide have been treated with Sarclisa-based regimens. The on-body injector aims to reduce physical burden on healthcare providers whilst offering patients greater convenience during treatment.

Sanofi appoints Paulo Fontoura as R&D chief to accelerate pharma pipeline transformation

Sanofi has appointed Paulo Fontoura as Executive Vice President and Global Head of Research & Development Pharma, effective 1 September. Based in Paris, Fontoura will oversee the company's innovation engine, spanning research, translational medicine, clinical development, and regulatory affairs. He succeeds Dr Houman Ashrafian, who is leaving to pursue new opportunities. Fontoura brings over 25 years of experience across academic medicine, translational science, and pharmaceutical innovation. The appointment comes as Sanofi drives an R&D transformation whilst progressing its pipeline across multiple therapeutic areas. Separately, MacroGenics confirmed it will receive $24.5 million in regulatory milestone payments from Sanofi following FDA accelerated approval of TZIELD to delay decline in endogenous insulin production in children.
