Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems or related field
  • 5 years of progressive experience as a Software Developer, Java Developer, Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Associate or related position involving Java application design, development and testing
  • 4 years of experience must include: Java, J2EE, EJB, JMS, Java beans; Hibernate; Jenkins, Waterfall and Agile methodologies; Spring MVC; Spring Batch; SQL developer, HTML, XML, XSL, JAXB, JSXP; Web Services, Struts, Ibatis; WebLogic Server, Apache Tomcat server, Eclipse; Oracle, DB2, SQL, PL/SQL; Java Script, EXT-JS, JQuery; and Object oriented database persistence techniques.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze user needs and develop software solutions using Java, J2EE
  • Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, and model development
  • Update software and enhance existing capabilities using Hibernate, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Web Services, SQL, PL/SQL
  • Establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas
  • Monitor all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation
  • Provide user and operational support on applications to business users
  • Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems or issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement
  • Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality
  • Consult with users and clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems
  • Ensure procedures are followed and define operating standards and processes.
