  • 4-7 years experience within Procurement, Strategic Sourcing/Vendor Management, Contract Management or equivalent background.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Source to Pay and Procure to Pay best practices including but not limited to: Request for Proposal (RFP), purchase request / PO process, standard agreement terms and conditions, contractual pricing considerations, vendor due diligence and risk assessments, vendor performance oversight, risk escalation and mitigation planning.
  • Strong experience negotiating contract terms.
  • Experience holding vendors accountable to their agreements, including creating action plans if/when not met.
  • Ability to identify operational deficiencies and escalate appropriately.
  • Ability to operate collaboratively and provide influence as a trusted partner.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams, and partner effectively cross various functions or levels.
  • Demonstrated experience with Source to Pay, eSourcing, Procure to Pay, Vendor Management, and Third-Party Risk Management technology platforms.
Responsibilities
  • Lead sourcing events across Greenlight entities. Conduct extensive contract reviews and negotiations across designated purchasing categories ensuring Greenlight has secured favorable business terms including cost reduction, process improvements, and can track exceptions (if/when warranted).
  • Acts as point of contact for managing Purchase Requests, Purchase Order Changes and other aspects relative to P2P platform workflows.
  • Manages the purchasing process including Policy driven sourcing requirements, vendor intake, due diligence and ensuring that all appropriate stakeholders have provided their approvals prior to contract signatures manage sourcing projects and handle business and technical contract negotiations for mid-tier and top-tier vendors.
  • Serving as negotiation lead on deal terms including presenting position, counters, and developing fallbacks to produce material savings, improved terms and conditions, and risk reduction.
  • Help lead the request for proposal/quote/information (RFX) process and the competitive bid process for vendor selection, where applicable.
  • Deliver cost savings through daily work and through driving proactive cost savings initiatives as part of the Sourcing team.
  • Act as liaison for Business Unit Stakeholders across Legal, Finance, Security, and Procurement and other Greenlight departments throughout contract negotiation and relationship management process.
  • Partners with Legal to maintain contract expiry and review process that allows Greenlight to maximize leverage across negotiations, new/revised business scope, and ensure adherence to appropriate company policies.
  • Embrace automation and the use of technology towards an evolving Procurement and Vendor Management function.
  • Supports KRI/KPI data aggregation for Procurement and Vendor Management reporting across stakeholders and executive sponsors.
