Bachelor’s degree and strong academic record from a premier university.
MBA, CFA or other relevant advanced degree strongly preferred
Extensive experience in private equity, investment banking or corporate finance with a proven track record of successful deal sourcing, evaluation and execution
3+ years at a leading investment management firm
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Financial modeling skills and proven analytical capabilities
Intellectual curiosity and high personal and professional moral code
Experience in the oil and gas industry a plus
Familiarity with structured finance, preferred equity structures, multi-tiered leverage finance and waterfall modeling strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Contribute to the development and execution of the firm’s investment strategies
Maintain and disseminate research on energy industry trends
Provide analytical and strategic support to portfolio companies to help maximize value
Source and evaluate potential investment opportunities
Maintain robust financial models in support of transaction underwriting and structuring
Support transaction negotiations and manage partner relationships
Prepare and present performance updates to the firm’s senior management and investors
Mentor and develop junior members of the investment team

Stronghold Investment Management is seeking candidates for the role of Vice President of Investments. The position will provide strategic support surrounding various investment opportunities across multiple U.S. basins. An entrepreneurial approach to delivering financial analysis of the highest quality is required. Candidates should also possess the capacity to create and maintain business relationships resulting in short-term growth of the Stronghold’s investment pipeline and long-term commitments to new teams and partners.

Responsibilities:

Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and certifications.

Salary Range

$150,000—$350,000 USD

Total Compensation Range

$187,500—$700,000 USD
