- The candidate must have SQA in load and performance engineering experience (5 plus years).
- JMeter and Blazemeter experience is required.
- Strong performance test automation experience with LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, WireShark or open source tool like JMeter.
- Programming knowledge with one of C, C++, Java or any other programming languages is required.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and/or any Relational Database Management Systems.
- Strong knowledge of HTTP and other Web Protocols, with the ability to script tests by examining protocol details.
- Ability to work with Linux, including basic monitoring commands, access commands and shell scripting.
- Experience with application performance management systems like Wily, AppDynamics etc.
- Strong understanding of basic database tuning, application server tuning and common issues around performance and scalability.
- Awareness of Software Development and Testing lifecycle.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
- Define performance scenarios based on project requirements.
- Create test data requirements, visualize and create performance test environment.
- Provide thought leadership on performance methodology, planning, activities and deliverables.
- Script tests, execute them, produce results and help analyze bottlenecks working cross functionally with business, engineering and support.
- Drive performance with architects, developers and help iterative performance enhancement.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills (desirable).
- Well versed with Internet technologies and infrastructure (desirable).
