What believers are saying

  • Its ACCA pages were updated December 8, 2025, showing active product maintenance.
  • The shop was updated March 23, 2026, signaling ongoing monetization beyond live classes.
  • Contact pages still invite live-class inquiries, indicating demand for real-time tutoring.

What critics are saying

  • No public funding disclosure or audited scale data makes the business hard to underwrite.
  • ACCA and ICAN dependence ties revenue to exam calendars, syllabus changes, and pass-rate scrutiny.
  • A cheaper recorded-lecture competitor can commoditize this model and erode enrollments quickly.

What makes Excel Academy unique

  • Excel Academy sells ICAN, ACCA, CIMA, and CITN prep from one online platform.
  • Its Lagos base at University of Lagos supports local credibility and instructor access.
  • The site claims 5,000-plus students and exam-mocked lectures, notes, and tutor support.
