📝 Background

• We are rapidly expanding our product engineering team in Palo Alto to build our AI video agent that can ingest user's content and compose quality videos for the social media. This product will be considered impossible before but you make people change their mind.

📝 Responsibilities

• You will work with the CTO to build and manage the engineering team.

• You will work with founders and cross-functional leaders to define goals and deliver product results as a team

• Uphold leader principles and amplify culture and core values

📝 Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field. A total of 8-15 years of experience in software engineering.

• A strong entrepreneurial or hacker spirit or experience in a rapidly growing startup. Believes that speed is key and quality to follow later. You dare to set ambitious goals and deadlines. And you work hard and smart for it. You enjoy the challenge and treat it like a sport.

• As a leader, you are result driven. You can work with constraints, propose goals and deliver results when given resources. You believe scope earned not given.

• You identify yourself as a fast learner, self-starter and a proud generalist. Not only you are excited to write code or train models in a hands-on manner, but also you feel you can wear multiple hats to help product management, research, marketing and even more diverse work.

• You have strong product and business sense and can build product based on customers' needs. You love building a product from the ground up. You can solve agent reliability problems using creative methods.

• You have experience managing a startup engineering team of 10+ in size in the LLM era. You can hire and manage US local talents of diverse culture.

• Able to work with engineer leads across the Asia time zone, including evening meetings with periodic travels to our other offices in Vancouver and Asia.

• Experience as a lead in AI agents (with dynamic planning capability) product team.

• Ex-CTO or founding engineers of venture backed startups
