Responsibilities
  • Pursue sales leads and achieve personal sales objectives for the assigned product range and territory, including complete collection of receivables.
  • Develop and penetrate target markets in the assigned region.
  • Support business development and customer management by identifying potential customers and providing updated market intelligence to the supervisor or team.
  • Coordinate with customer service, supply chain, and logistics personnel.

Sika successfully places EUR 1 billion hybrid capital bond. Sika, a globally leading specialty chemicals company, successfully placed an inaugural hybrid capital bond (fixed rate resettable subordinated debt) with a total amount of EUR 1 billion split into two EUR 500 million tranches. The hybrid bonds were placed into the European institutional fixed income investor base with Citigroup acting as Global Coordinator and BofA Securities, Citigroup, and UBS Investment Bank as active bookrunners. The new securities will be listed on the regulated market of Euronext Dublin. Lenz & Staehelin acted as Swiss counsel to Sika. Sika places $1.1B hybrid bond to support acquisitions and maintain A- rating

Sika has successfully placed a €1 billion hybrid capital bond, split into two €500 million tranches. The bonds were placed with European institutional fixed income investors, with Citigroup as Global Coordinator and BofA Securities, Citigroup, and UBS Investment Bank as active bookrunners. The first tranche is a 30NC5.75-year hybrid bond with a 4.375% annual coupon and first call date on 26 February 2032. The second is a 30NC8.75-year hybrid bond with a 4.875% annual coupon and first call date on 26 February 2035. The transaction is structured to receive 50% equity treatment at S&P and supports Sika's A- issuer rating. Net proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including financing bolt-on acquisitions and refinancing existing debt. The bonds will be listed on Euronext Dublin.

Sika posts 4% revenue growth, upgrades outlook to 3-6% for 2026

Sika reported 4% local currency revenue growth in the first half of the year, reaching CHF 5.59 billion in sales. The Swiss construction chemicals company achieved organic growth of 2.9% and an acquisition effect of 1.1%. Second-quarter performance showed acceleration, with local currency growth reaching 6.8% and organic growth hitting 5.7%. The material margin increased 60 basis points year on year to 55.7%. EBITDA reached CHF 1.06 billion with a 19% margin. Net profit stood at CHF 552.1 million, whilst operating free cash flow totalled CHF 139.6 million. Sika upgraded its full-year outlook, now expecting 3% to 6% sales growth in local currencies and an EBITDA margin of 19% to 19.5%. The company's Fast Forward programme remains on track to deliver CHF 80 million in savings for 2026.

Sika names Laurie Hill VP of technical roofing/insulation. Hill will lead Sika's roofing and insulation technical teams after more than two decades with the company and its Rmax business unit.
