Requirements
  • A graduate degree, preferably in Science or Pharmacy.

Responsibilities
  • Sell the Biosurgery range of hemostatic products within key hospitals and government institutions across Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir.
  • Establish the Biosurgery product portfolio as the preferred choice of adjunctive hemostats in the assigned territory by communicating bleeding-management importance, quality, and clinical advantages.
  • Achieve or exceed franchise sales targets and close sales while positively impacting customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain product knowledge and understanding of customer needs and competitive developments, and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Provide weekly and monthly sales action plans for the manager.
  • Analyze sales reports, identify opportunities and routine problems, determine causes, and recommend solutions.
  • Negotiate and close routine sales and handle more complex deals with guidance.
  • Participate in trade displays and conferences when required.
  • Develop understanding of customer needs and identify sales opportunities.
  • Maintain active operating-room presence in strategically important specialties and procedures.
  • Drive marketing campaigns in coordination with larger sales teams.
  • Identify tender and contract opportunities and work with colleagues to deliver them.
  • Develop and execute an effective territory plan with guidance.
  • Work with retailers and ensure they act as brand ambassadors for the products.
  • Identify and train surgeons on new technologies and solutions through consult-in-surgery, one-on-one sales calls, and group training sessions.
  • Identify customer in-service education needs and coordinate and deliver education sessions with assistance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers at all levels.
  • Advise marketing on customer in-service education resource needs.
  • Prepare key-account development plans with guidance and support sales growth.
  • Identify and document key customers and decision makers.
  • Identify and optimize cross-selling opportunities.
  • Provide customer support on inventory within company guidelines.
  • Develop product knowledge covering features, benefits, correct application and usage, anatomy, physiology, and medical procedures.
  • Demonstrate product application and usage and differentiate products from competitors.
  • Drive procedure and product knowledge with Marketing in the region.
  • Develop understanding of competitive products and their features, advantages, and benefits.
  • Gather information on current practices, behaviors, and attitudes.
  • Obtain usage data from trained surgeons and monitor adoption.
  • Manage accounts receivable, operating expenses, transportation, advertising and promotion, entertainment, and travel expenses responsibly.
  • Seek prior approval for budget variations and follow sample-issue and coordination guidelines.
  • Plan sample and expense utilization within budget.
  • Identify actions to improve job performance and participate in nominated training programs.
  • Maintain knowledge through self-learning, complete knowledge tests and competency assessments, and apply new learning on the job.
  • Conduct business ethically in accordance with the company Credo and values.
