Requirements
  • 15+ years’ experience in Environmental Health and Safety with at least five years of management experience leading a multi-site EHS department, preference for candidates with leadership experience in a fast paced, high throughput manufacturing operation
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline; CIH, CSP, ASP, or similar certification desired.
  • Expert-level knowledge of OSHA, DOT, environmental and EPA regulations and safety-related federal, state, and local regulations and laws.
  • ISO 45001/14001 experience a plus.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations.
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
  • A demonstrated track record of proactively identifying needs, and then creating, resourcing, and leading execution of plans to fulfill those needs.
  • Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Works across Form’s technical and operational teams to develop and strengthen a culture of safety.
  • Establishes site and/or department-specific strategies for identification of safety and environmental and health hazards associated with all business activities and guidelines for protection from those hazards.
  • Develops a multi-site departmental roadmap and staffing plan to support Form’s manufacturing scale-up and expansion objectives.
  • Establishes departmental KPIs and maintains a company-wide EHS dashboard, with regular reporting to executive staff and site leadership.
  • Leads or participates in environmental permitting and other regulatory activities associated with expansion and new construction, manufacturing build-out and/or infrastructure projects.
  • Develops the procedures, processes, and training programs to maintain and monitor health and safety of company employees, including PHA, surveys, and audit or inspection of work environments, machinery, and equipment to detect existing or potential hazards. Accountable for the delivery of applicable training programs to managers and employees in work site safety and compliance.
  • Develops and coordinates emergency response operations at each site, including medical, chemical, fire and evacuation/rescue, designating an Emergency Response Team and arranging for all appropriate training.
  • Directs Form resources in all federal, state and corporate investigations and inspections.
  • Maintains current knowledge of safety and environmental laws and regulations to keep the company in compliance with regulatory agencies and other applicable laws.
