Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience in strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development, in health care industry OR consulting OR Master/Professional Degree and 4 years of experience strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry OR consulting OR 7 years of experience strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry.
  • Project management skills, including strong organization, prioritization and problem solving skills; strong oral, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; ability to accept direction and feedback.
  • Experience with business analytics and information synthesis.
  • Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends.
  • Experience managing complex corporate projects in a matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated organization, prioritization, problem solving, communication skills including presentation and group facilitation experience.
  • Experience interacting with staff/management across multiple departments at various levels in the organization.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint with strong Excel skills.
  • 3 years' experience plus with negotiation of contracts between health insurers and healthcare providers, with an emphasis on hospital contracting.
  • Masters Degree.
  • Health insurance or healthcare industry experience.
Responsibilities
  • Support network contracting and relationship management pertaining to contracting with the IL Contracting team.
  • Support contracting efforts on the Key Provider Partnerships team for all lines of business and all provider types affiliated with the respective Key Provider Partners.
