Job Summary
This Senior Divisional Strategy Consultant role is for the support of network contracting and relationship management pertaining to contracting with the IL Contracting team. This role will support contracting efforts on the Key Provider Partnerships team for all lines of business and all provider types affiliated with the respective Key Provider Partners.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience in strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development, in health care industry OR consulting OR Master/Professional Degree and 4 years of experience strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry OR consulting OR 7 years of experience strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry.
- Project management skills, including strong organization, prioritization and problem solving skills; strong oral, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; ability to accept direction and feedback.
- Experience with business analytics and information synthesis.
- Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends.
- Experience managing complex corporate projects in a matrixed environment.
- Demonstrated organization, prioritization, problem solving, communication skills including presentation and group facilitation experience.
- Experience interacting with staff/management across multiple departments at various levels in the organization.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint with strong Excel skills.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- 3 years’ experience plus with negotiation of contracts between health insurers and healthcare providers, with an emphasis on hospital contracting.
- Masters Degree.
- Health insurance or healthcare industry experience.
This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote.

Base Pay Range
$58,800.00 - $130,100.00
