NDE - API Inspector

Braun Intertec is seeking to hire an API Inspection Technician to join their Bloomington, MN team.

Job Description Summary

Performs API 510/570 inspections, organize UTT people, create inspection plans.

Responsibilities:

• Perform API 510 & 570 inspections
• May perform Ultrasonic, Radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and visual inspections on specifically assigned field or laboratory projects
• Works independently as crew lead on job sites
• Prepare reports and other work documents in a timely and accurate manner
• Understands and utilizes safe work practices

Required Experience:

• API 510 & 570 certification or some combination of API certifications
• API 653 certification preferred, not required
• CWI Certification is a plus, not required
• ASNT-TC-1A Level II in NDE methods – RT, MT, PT, UT, VT, some combination preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Post education or formal training in non-destructive testing
• Familiar with NDT equipment
• Experienced with NDT methods and procedures
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
• Must be able to work off ladders and scaffolding

Compensation Range:

$63,900.00 - $95,900.00
