Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • A minimum of 5 years of heavy civil construction project management experience on United States-based projects.
  • Proven experience with critical path method scheduling, estimating, and subcontractor management.
  • Willingness to travel to long-term project sites across the Midwest.
  • Authorization to work in the United States now and in the future without employer sponsorship.
Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams with safety, quality, and productivity as priorities.
  • Train project engineers to run work of their own.
  • Run change orders and risk while maintaining the owner relationship.
  • Direct field engineering, surveying, and quality control.
  • Manage subcontractors, procurement, and resource allocation.
  • Own critical path method schedules, budgets, cost accounting, and forecasting.
Desired Qualifications
  • Exposure to dam, hydroelectric, tunnel, or geotechnical projects.
  • Engineer in Training certification.
  • Survey or layout experience.
  • An internship with a heavy civil or underground contractor.
