Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent and four years of high-level administrative experience, an associate’s degree and two years of high-level executive office experience, or a bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in a high-level executive office setting.
  • Strong computer, communication, writing, organizational, and transcription skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment with exemplary attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a standard office environment.
Responsibilities
  • Provide confidential administrative support to executive leadership.
  • Maintain assigned executives’ daily appointment calendars and make travel and lodging arrangements as required.
  • Type correspondence, reports, memoranda, special projects, technical papers, and related material for department staff.
  • Compose letters and memoranda from dictation, verbal direction, or knowledge of hospital policies and procedures.
  • Record meeting minutes to maintain an accurate record of decisions.
  • Answer telephones and provide information in accordance with hospital policy.
  • Collect and prepare information for assigned leaders’ use in meetings with executive staff members and outside individuals.
  • Follow standard precautions at all times.
