Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree plus two additional years of relevant experience or a Master of Arts or Master of Science degree in a relevant discipline.
  • More than 10 years of experience performing duties similar to the functional description.
  • Five years of experience supporting Naval aviation or comparable Department of Defense acquisition programs.
  • An active Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to work effectively with government, military, and contractor stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare professional briefs, reports, and correspondence.
  • An associate's degree plus four additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a master's degree.
  • Six additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a master's degree.
Responsibilities
  • Support development and coordination of acquisition and financial documentation required to execute program objectives.
  • Assist with acquisition strategy reports, procurement initiation documentation, performance work statements, funding documents, contract data requirements lists, and baseline-related materials.
  • Analyze budget execution, funding requirements, and financial status to support program decision-making.
  • Review program procedures, documentation, and financial products for completeness, consistency, and compliance with applicable guidance.
  • Develop financial inputs for briefs, point papers, correspondence, reports, meetings, conferences, and review boards.
  • Support program milestone events, budget reviews, acquisition reviews, and internal coordination meetings.
  • Coordinate with acquisition, contracting, business financial management, logistics, and technical stakeholders.
  • Track program funding actions, financial issues, suspense items, and documentation status.
  • Prepare senior-level analysis and recommendations related to budget execution, acquisition planning, and program risk.
  • Provide clear written and verbal updates to government and contractor leadership.
  • Coordinate frequently with government customers, contractor teammates, and cross-functional technical and business teams.
  • Produce program documentation, briefings, reports, schedules, financial inputs, action item trackers, and meeting support materials.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting ACAT or major defense acquisition programs.
  • Strong understanding of acquisition documentation, funding documents, contract data requirements lists, and performance work statements.
  • Experience preparing senior-level briefs and program review materials.
