Requirements
  • Knowledge of networking systems, including copper and fiber optic systems, cabling, and components.
  • Knowledge of Audio Visual, Access Control, and closed-circuit television systems and components.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency using AutoCAD and Revit computer-aided design tools.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams, along with organizational skills for file management.
  • Ability to complete assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
  • Ability to leverage artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to streamline workflows, optimize operational processes, and contribute to company-wide innovation.
  • Ability to follow company and site safety requirements.
  • Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form with technical and non-technical information.

  • An Associate degree in engineering, construction, or a related discipline, or a minimum of three years of experience producing construction documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD with a focus on low-voltage design, plus one additional year of such experience.
Responsibilities
  • Support the production of building information modeling and computer-aided design deliverables, including Revit models and AutoCAD drawings, to meet project design requirements.
  • Perform intermediate design tasks under a senior engineer’s supervision.
  • Provide project delivery support, including electronic document and building information modeling management, to facilitate project submissions and completion of deliverables.
  • Collaborate with technical trade leads, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building automation systems, electrical power monitoring systems, and information and communications technology, to ensure multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Complete assigned building information modeling and computer-aided design production work within the project budget and deadlines.
  • Survey existing building conditions and prepare technical reports of findings.
  • Collect data and other information for construction documents.
  • Prepare project design and construction documents.
  • Edit and write project specifications.
  • Work as part of the engineering team and interact closely with the project management team.
  • Review shop drawings and submittals.
  • Review and respond to requests for information.
  • Review and complete punch lists and project closeout documents.
  • Prepare project progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Update and maintain shop drawing and request-for-information logs.
  • Complete assigned tasks and deliverables on time and on budget.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
