Position Schedule / Shift: The interns will be expected to work 20 hours/week outside of class time during core business hours Monday through Friday for the duration of the program’s fourteen (14) weeks. The program will run from September 8th to December 5th, 2026.
Position Summary: The IT Technical Communications Intern will collaborate with business and technology teams to create, maintain, and enhance technical documentation, knowledge resources, and communication materials that support organizational technology initiatives. In this role, the intern will assist in translating complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly content for a variety of audiences, including employees, leadership, and technical stakeholders. Responsibilities may include developing user guides, process documentation, intranet content, training materials, and communication plans for technology projects and system enhancements. The position provides hands-on exposure to technical writing, knowledge management, change communications, and cross-functional collaboration within an IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Must be:
At least a sophomore, fully enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at an accredited college/university, with a minimum 3.0 GPA
Studying a field related to Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, Art and Design, UI/UX, Human Centered Design, or Psychology
Legally authorized to work in the U.S

Review records, system files, reports, etc. to ensure correct information is reflected and/or assigned

Equipment:
A laptop or PC capable of running Android Studio. This internship is Bring Your Own Device (BYOD).
Preferred
UI/UX, Art, or Human Centered design skills
Ability to learn and adapt to corporate cultures and processes and provide own relevant and effective experience and best practices
Be comfortable in an environment where responsibilities are broadly defined, resources are limited, and collaboration is critical to success
Ability to provide good service to internal and/or external customers
Prior internship or project experience in a finance or business analytics role

Work Environment: This position is currently able to work remotely from a home office location for day-to-day operations unless occasional travel for meetings, collaborative activities, or team building activities is specified by leadership. The intern will need to have access to reliable internet and provide their own computer capable of using Android Studio, Android Studio Emulator, and communication tools. This internship is Bring Your Own Device.

Compensation
The Auto Club Group will provide compensation of $18.50/hour for 20 hours/week. The interns will be expected to report during core hours Monday through Friday for the duration of the program’s fourteen (14) weeks.
