Provi is seeking a committed, experienced, and energetic individual to join our team as a Sr. Accountant to help us with our month end close and financial reporting.

What you’ll be doing

Perform month-end close and assist in preparing financial statements that are in compliance with GAAP.
Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances.
Performing monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analysis.
Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules, prepaids and accruals.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
Provide cross functional support to Sales Operations & Sales for commissions and billing.
Assist with external audits, tax audits and tax returns to ensure compliance.
Provide other additional general accounting and support when needed

What we are looking for

5+ years in accounting roles both as a leader and as an individual contributor in industry and/or Public Accounting
Strong technical accounting background with a thorough knowledge of US GAAP
Experience with software/SaaS revenue recognition under ASC 606
Familiarity with financial accounting statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like NetSuite and QuickBooks
Previous experience in high growth startups or previous experience building accounting processes from the ground up
Detailed oriented individual
BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
Relevant certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) will be preferred
