Requirements
  • A valid driver's license is required, with a satisfactory driving record for operating a company vehicle.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and submit to random drug and alcohol testing.
  • A valid Department of Transportation physical card is required.
  • Ability to perform manual and skilled labor safely and correctly.
  • Ability to handle materials and lift 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to remain alert to hazards and react appropriately.
  • Ability to travel routinely.
  • Successful completion of basic safety and flagger training.
  • Successful completion of Operator Qualification training on a job-to-job basis.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with setting up and tearing down work zones as needed.
  • Maintain a safe work zone and represent the company professionally and courteously to the general public and customers.
  • Properly care for assigned equipment.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
  • Assist with spotting.
  • Use hand tools, bolt up flanges, and perform high torquing.
Desired Qualifications
  • Pipeline coating experience.
  • A Class A Commercial Driver's License.
  • Basic rigging skills.
  • Civil or carpentry skills.
  • Qualification in applying and repairing above- and below-ground coatings.
  • Ability to safely operate heavy equipment regularly.
