Requirements
  • BS in a data-related, technical/engineering, or quantitative fields; Masters preferred
  • 8+ years of work experience in analytics or quantitative roles
  • 1-2+ years of analytics experience in YouTube Ads campaign management with proven success
  • Experience with data mining, and/or predictive modeling, and data interpretation
  • Experience directly managing daily YouTube ads budgets of $250K+/day minimum
  • Expert level proficiency in Excel, particularly pivot tables, power pivots, data models
  • Expert level with SQL and/or Python / R for ad-hoc analysis
  • Experience in building traditional or advanced predictive models. Experience in text mining or LLM experience is a plus.
  • Expert level proficiency in PowerPoint and / or Google Slides
  • Ability to troubleshoot data-related issues
  • Direct-to-Consumer marketing experience is preferred
  • Highly knowledgeable with Google Ads platform, bidding and targeting, keywords and audience research, ad creative testing
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience doing competitive analysis and providing recommendations
  • Openness and ability to learn new concepts and systems quickly
  • Proficient at managing multiple projects and able to organize, prioritize and structure workload
  • Passion for the digital media space in general and YouTube in particular is preferred
  • Expertise in visualizing and manipulating big datasets
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills for external technical and non-technical audiences
Responsibilities
  • Provide thought leadership and analytics support to the Ad Sales team to achieve their sales goals
  • Provide data driven strategies to support the Ad Ops team in setting up, managing, executing, and analyzing YouTube ad campaigns and budgets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to keep spend optimized while hitting strict ROI goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, such as Ad Ops, Finance, Ad Sales, Marketing, and the Creator Community
  • Analyze and report on the performance and impact of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data-driven insights and best practices
  • Leverage your analytics skills and operational expertise to drive and optimize planning and executing multiple ad campaigns
  • Build various lookalike models to understand viewers of specific YouTube content and their brand affinities
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance capabilities around creating high-quality, comprehensive executive summaries and improve overall storytelling with effective presentations
  • Research and monitor marketing trends and competitive landscape and identify new opportunities for growth and innovation
  • Continuously ideate, implement, and measure results of A/B testing for campaign targeting to optimize for conversions
  • Perform regular tracking and analysis of campaign performance. Prepare and deliver performance reports identifying successes and opportunities for improvement
