Requirements
- A current registered nurse license in the State of Ohio is required.
- An Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience is required.
- Active Life Support and cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification is required.
- Excellent communication and teaming skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and examination rooms, take initial medical history for the chart, and take vital signs.
- Assist the physician with special procedures, including minor surgery, as required.
- Receive and handle phone calls as directed by the physician.
- Maintain accountability for professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law.
- Perform other duties related to the business operation of the medical practice as assigned by the physician or practice office manager.
Desired Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
- Previous nursing experience is preferred.
- Epic training or knowledge experience is preferred.
