Responsibilities
  • Lead the data migration strategy for the Workday implementation, covering both HR and Finance systems.
  • Define and execute data governance processes to ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to gather data requirements, ensuring alignment with business processes and system capabilities.
  • Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities, ensuring the accurate migration of legacy data into the Workday platform.
  • Manage data validation and reconciliation efforts, ensuring discrepancies are resolved before go-live.
  • Work with third-party vendors and internal teams to integrate data from other systems (e.g., payroll, benefits, financial reporting) into Workday.
  • Develop and maintain a data migration plan and schedule, identifying key milestones and risks.
  • Provide regular updates on the status of data-related activities, including data readiness, migration progress, and issue resolution.
  • Manage and mentor a team of data specialists and analysts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work.
  • Collaborate with the Change Management team to provide insights on data impacts to users and stakeholders.
  • Ensure data privacy and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX).
  • Support post-go-live data maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting efforts.
