Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a relevant degree is required.
  • A minimum of five years of investment experience, which may include research, with consistent long-term investment performance meeting objectives is required.
  • Knowledge of investment and portfolio management theory, accounting and financial principles, investment strategies and instruments, and marketplace characteristics is required.
  • Decision-making, sales, and negotiating skills are required to contribute to revenue generation and guide sensitive or difficult situations toward agreement.
  • Specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in the investment discipline is required.
  • The ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services is required.
  • The ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiate with others to adopt a different point of view is required.
  • Technical experience with investment software such as FIS, Charles River, Morningstar, FactSet, First Rate, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office is required.
  • At least five years of investment decision-making and financial consulting experience working with high-net-worth clients is required.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and recommend client-centric investment portfolios using Wealth Management investment solutions to achieve client investment objectives.
  • Review and analyze investment portfolios to determine appropriate asset allocations and select underlying investment strategies based on client preferences.
  • Provide ongoing oversight and recommend and implement changes to holdings and asset allocation to maintain compliance with strategies and policies.
  • Manage assigned portfolios, including maintaining asset allocation, rebalancing portfolios, implementing investment changes, and raising cash.
  • Analyze and plan overall investment strategies, continuously revising them as goals and objectives change and working proactively with the broader client service team to identify and execute opportunities.
  • Transition non-compliant portfolios to approved strategies.
  • Manage account liquidity for ongoing cash demands and distributions and perform risk management.
  • Perform annual Reg 9 investment reviews for assigned accounts and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Partner with the Wealth Management client team on client presentations, portfolio structure reviews, and investment performance reporting.
  • Serve as the relationship expert on investment capabilities, portfolio performance, the economy, and the market environment.
  • Prepare and present detailed investment information to clients.
  • Participate in business development efforts with Wealth Advisors, Trust Officers, and other relationship managers.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to deliver a cohesive client experience.
  • Coordinate with clients, co-trustees, consultants, internal legal teams, and outside attorneys to communicate client requirements and coordinate portfolio activity.
  • Meet with clients to review investment performance and forecast market changes using economic and industry analysis, objectives, and asset allocation models.
  • Respond to client requests for information, advice, and service, including proactive outreach and creating investment content for client and prospect presentations, investment reviews, prospecting events, thought leadership articles, and investment updates.
  • Document account activities and client interactions.
  • Provide leadership through interaction with and mentoring of other investment associates.
  • Participate in weekly Portfolio Manager meetings.
  • Work individually or with a team on assigned projects.
  • Engage in thought leadership publications, educational opportunities, practice-hosted symposiums, and events.
  • Execute initiatives, new capability rollouts, and required training.
  • Maintain expertise in new investment strategies, tools, capabilities, portfolio research, and investment methodologies.
  • Provide feedback to leadership on areas for improvement in national initiatives, changes, and expectations.
  • Stay current on economic data, equity and credit markets, company coverage, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, and tactical asset allocation investment decisions.
Desired Qualifications
  • A CFA or another advanced designation such as CPA or CFP is preferred.
  • A graduate degree such as an MBA or JD is preferred.

Old National Bancorp posts record Q2 2026 results with $249.4M net income, expands executive leadership team

Old National Bancorp reported record second quarter 2026 net income of $249.4 million, or $0.65 per diluted share. The Indiana-based bank, ranking among the top 25 US banking companies, saw period-end deposits rise 3.4% annualised to $56.1 billion, whilst total loans grew 8.3% annualised to $50.8 billion. The company announced significant leadership changes, establishing an Operating Group comprising eight senior executives and adding four new members to its Executive Leadership Team. Net interest income reached $586.5 million, with the net interest margin declining one basis point to 3.54%. Old National repurchased $107 million of common stock during the quarter. The bank's efficiency ratio improved to a record 47.0%, demonstrating disciplined expense management.

Shane Print named president of commercial & industrial banking at Old National Bank

Old National Bank has appointed Shane Print as president of Commercial & Industrial Banking, where he will lead the bank's C&I business and drive growth. Print brings nearly 25 years of financial services experience, most recently serving as senior vice president and commercial banking market executive for a major US bank in Chicago. Print will oversee C&I, Agribusiness and SBA lending operations, reporting to Commercial Banking President Chris Doyle. He will be based in Old National's Chicago Triangle location. He replaces Kevin Anderson, who is retiring at year-end after 43 years in banking. Old National, with approximately $73 billion in assets, ranks as the fifth-largest commercial bank headquartered in the Midwest and among the top 25 banking companies in the United States.

Old National Bank misses Q1 revenue estimates despite 45.8% year-on-year growth to $702.8M

Old National Bancorp missed Wall Street's revenue expectations in Q1 CY2026, reporting $702.8 million versus analyst estimates of $708.4 million, despite sales rising 45.8% year on year. The Midwestern regional bank's non-GAAP profit of $0.61 per share met consensus estimates. Net interest income reached $572.6 million, missing estimates of $587.6 million, whilst net interest margin came in at 3.5% versus the expected 3.6%. The efficiency ratio was 48.3%, slightly above the anticipated 47.3%. Tangible book value per share of $13.93 also fell short of the $14.19 estimate. Chairman and CEO Jim Ryan stated the results reflect "disciplined execution and a strong start to the year". The company has demonstrated strong long-term growth, with revenue expanding at a 26.7% compound annual rate over five years.

Hallador Energy Closes $120 Million Senior Secured Credit Facilities

The Company expects to use borrowings under the Facilities to refinance its prior credit facility and provide working capital. Hallador Energy closes $120M senior secured credit facilities to refinance debt and boost liquidity

Hallador Energy Company has closed a $120 million senior secured credit agreement consisting of a $75 million revolving credit facility and a $45 million delayed draw term loan facility, maturing on 5 March 2029. The revolving facility includes a $25 million sub-facility for letters of credit, a $10 million swingline sub-facility, and an accordion feature allowing up to $25 million in additional incremental commitments. The financing will refinance the company's prior credit facility with PNC Bank and provide working capital whilst extending the debt maturity profile and enhancing liquidity. Texas Capital Bank arranged the transaction and serves as administrative agent, with Old National Bank acting as joint lead arranger and First Financial Bank participating as a lender.
