Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in public policy, international affairs, political science, economics or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience working in public policy, analysis, or finance roles.
  • Relevant work experience in a policy environment.
  • Effective analytical, quantitative and qualitative skills, including primary and secondary research, market intelligence and other methods. Preferred candidates will have a foundational understanding of markets, finance, banking, and economics.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Appetite for learning, growth, and career development.
  • Get-it-done attitude with ability to pivot fast, go with the flow and take on new challenges.
  • Proficiency with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite.
Responsibilities
  • Leading and drafting responses to policy and regulatory requests for information on stablecoins and cryptoassets globally.
  • Monitoring and aggregating notable government policies and announcements relating to Circle’s business around the world.
  • Aggregating, synthesizing and analyzing multiple data and information sources on an ongoing basis, providing strategic recommendations based on this information, and formulating the deployment of that information.
  • Creating supporting documentation – factsheets, one pagers, and supporting decks – for Global Policy members to use in engagements with policymakers and regulators, including data collection and analysis.
  • Coordinating Policy initiatives with the Communications team.
  • Support Global Policy-related operational requirements, including key processes, systems, and technology tools.
  • Contributing to the annual State of the USDC Economy Report, managing the weekly update for Policy, and assisting in the design of quarterly all-company updates.
  • Assisting in external programming to support policy goals.
  • Represent Circle, as appropriate, in policy engagements.
  • Supporting policy equities in internal product development discussions.
  • Championing the development of department goals and OKRs (Objectives + Key Results).
