What you’ll be responsible for:
Circle is looking for an Analyst on the Global Policy team who will play a central role in analyzing global regulatory and policy developments and formulating appropriate regulatory strategy for Circle as a regulated and compliant financial services company. The candidate will help drive analysis, engagement, and regulatory consultations supporting successful engagement in target markets and with global regulatory bodies. This will include operationalizing processes for the Policy team, researching emerging regulatory standards, tracking meetings, and coordinating with our internal and external partners to help inform our global policy engagements and strategy. You will also track ongoing regulatory and legislative issues and participate in strategic planning for domestic and international product development. Successful candidates will be eager to learn, grow, and build a compelling portfolio of work through collaboration and relationship-building across the company.
What you’ll work on:
- Leading and drafting responses to policy and regulatory requests for information on stablecoins and cryptoassets globally.
- Monitoring and aggregating notable government policies and announcements relating to Circle’s business around the world.
- Aggregating, synthesizing and analyzing multiple data and information sources on an ongoing basis, providing strategic recommendations based on this information, and formulating the deployment of that information.
- Creating supporting documentation – factsheets, one pagers, and supporting decks – for Global Policy members to use in engagements with policymakers and regulators, including data collection and analysis.
- Coordinating Policy initiatives with the Communications team.
- Support Global Policy-related operational requirements, including key processes, systems, and technology tools.
- Contributing to the annual State of the USDC Economy Report, managing the weekly update for Policy, and assisting in the design of quarterly all-company updates.
- Assisting in external programming to support policy goals.
- Represent Circle, as appropriate, in policy engagements.
- Supporting policy equities in internal product development discussions.
- Championing the development of department goals and OKRs (Objectives + Key Results).

What you’ll bring to Circle:
- Bachelor’s degree in public policy, international affairs, political science, economics or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience working in public policy, analysis, or finance roles.
- Relevant work experience in a policy environment.
- Effective analytical, quantitative and qualitative skills, including primary and secondary research, market intelligence and other methods. Preferred candidates will have a foundational understanding of markets, finance, banking, and economics.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Appetite for learning, growth, and career development.
- Get-it-done attitude with ability to pivot fast, go with the flow and take on new challenges.
- Proficiency with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite.

Starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.
Base Pay Range: $46.88 - $62.50 per hour, plus overtime eligibility
Annual Bonus Target: 10%
