Centari, an AI platform for deal intelligence, has launched two new products—Views and Intelligence—expanding beyond document review to transform transactional deal data into strategic insights. The platform serves leading law firms across three continents, including AmLaw 25 and Magic Circle firms. Founded by former Paul Hastings M&A lawyer Kevin Walker, Centari uses its patent-pending Deal Reasoning Engine to extract high-fidelity data from complex transactional documents. The technology traces defined terms, maps conditional logic and reconciles interdependent provisions to create a queryable dataset that grows with each transaction. Intelligence enables natural language search across deal history and real-time negotiation support, whilst Views allows firms to create data visualisations for internal teams and clients. Customers include Ropes & Gray, Fried Frank and Willkie Farr & Gallagher across the US, UK and Australia.
Centari has announced $8.4 million in Series A funding. The company, which focuses on high-stakes contract review, plans to enhance its legal team by hiring attorneys from prestigious firms like Kirkland and Davis Polk.
