Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Business, Computer Science or related concentration is required
- 3-5 years' experience in the Investment Management industry
- Strong understanding of Performance and Client Reporting responsibilities are required
- Hands-on experience in creating Business Requirements, Functional Requirements and Business workflow documents
- Strong skills developing use cases and test strategies including integration testing for in-house applications
- Experience writing queries and analyzing data with MS SQL Server is required
- Strong Excel skills, as well as a working knowledge of data structures are required
- Great communication and organizational skills, drive, energy, enthusiasm, maturity, and confidence
- Experience with third party applications and vendor management is preferred, but not required
- Prior experience managing projects requiring communication across multiple business and technical teams is preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Responsibilities
- Liaise between Performance and Client Reporting business teams to understand business functional needs and then guide Developers and QA resources to deliver timely solutions
- Lead daily stand ups working with IT resources and perform all agile project management tasks including maintaining a well-ordered backlog of issues and epics in JIRA to organize and prioritize bugs, stories, tasks, and releases
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to create business and systems requirements, functional requirements and integration testing strategies for the business strategic initiatives
- Manage each project with support from Manager and team members, drive each project to completion
- Work closely with various technical and business units across the firm to help plan and prioritize future projects related to these business teams
- Provide Tier 1 production support during working business hours, tracking issues in JIRA and ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner while ensuring clear communication to business users
- Develop training materials and conduct end-user training sessions
- Create and maintain documentation in Confluence for both the Dev team (functional specifications) and end users (How-Tos)
