Requirements
  • Candidates must be enrolled in a graduate program within the Department of Biochemistry, or in another graduate program at McGill University, for the Winter 2026 term.
  • Students have received demonstrated experience in one or more of the specialized fields listed above.
  • At least one (1) year experience in the Graduate Program.
  • Effective communication skills in English are essential. French is an asset.
  • With demonstrated experience in at least one of these combinations: 1- NMR OR 2- Small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) and crystallography OR 3- Electron microscopy OR 4- Mass spectrometry and biophysical techniques (e.g. ITC, CD, SPR)
Responsibilities
  • Be present at lectures OR run hands-on, in lab demonstrations.
  • Participate in-class small group learning activities.
  • Be available to answer e-mail inquiries or direct questions. Hours flexible.
  • Mark quizzes, one section of the midterm/final; invigilate the midterm and exam viewing sessions.
