US Top Secret Clearance Required
- Excellent networking skills, including an understanding of IP Schema, scripting, hardware, and other aspects of building a network and maintaining systems.
- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with poly level of clearance and the ability to maintain clearance.
- The ability to work proficiently with minimal oversight.

- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, and carry at least 15lbs of equipment.
- Design and deploy functional servers on Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Maintain system compliance with cyber security standards and practices.
- Monitor system performance and integrity.
- Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.
- Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery, etc.).
- Communicate appropriately and professionally with users when needed.
- Maintain complete technical documentation.
- Suggest improvements to performance, capacity, and scalability.
- Preferred 2 years of direct industry-related experience as a Jr. Systems Engineer; or have knowledge comparable to a Jr. Systems Engineer/Architect.
- Experience in maintaining compliance with cybersecurity standards and frameworks.
- Professional certification(s) (e.g. - MCSE, CCNP, or CISSP).
- Solid background in systems engineering and maintenance.
- In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly ICMP, TCP/IP) and routing protocols.
- In-depth understanding of deploying Elasticsearch on Linux in a clustered environment.
- Familiarity with virtualization (ESXi, vCenter).
- Familiarity with access control models and network security.
- Solid understanding of server operating systems (Ubuntu 18.04, Windows).
- Knowledge in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related engineering field (or, at least 2 years of direct experience working as a network engineer).
- Understanding of basic Cisco switching functions (configuring access and trunk ports).
