Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a business development role, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment. Experience in manufacturing software or adjacent technologies is a HUGE plus.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively – not afraid to pick up the phone and talk to people.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving impact and growth.
  • Proficient with CRM software such as Salesforce.
  • Experience with other sales tools like Zoominfo, Engage (or other sequencing platforms), Crossbeam, Kabal, etc. is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation: Utilize various channels, including cold outreach (call and email), inbound inquiries, and conferences/networking events to identify and engage with prospective customers.
  • Qualification: Assess the fit between prospective clients' needs and First Resonance's solutions through effective discovery conversations.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to understand their pain points and demonstrate how First Resonance can address them.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage and prioritize a pipeline of leads using CRM software, ensuring timely follow-ups, and accurate tracking of progress.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted outreach campaigns and refine messaging based on market feedback.
  • Market Research: Learn about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform business development strategies.
  • Meeting Goals: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, qualification, and progression.
