As we currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our Chelmsford office as a Mid-Market, Motor Trade Underwriter!

A bit about the job:

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our brokers and customers to gain a deeper understanding of their needs, ensuring that we deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to the requirements of each customer / client. In turn, you'llshowcase excellent organisation and time management skills, including managing your own diary successfully within a fast-paced environment (this will include regular face to face broker meetings).

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Previous Motor Trade underwriting experience (i.e. knowledge covering road, property and liability risks)

• Strong ability to analyse risks and communicate and present effectively to brokers and/or customers

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a large complex organisation

• Confident trading abilities with a broad panel of brokers and good knowledge of the FCA and other relevant regulation and legislation

• Strong commercial business acumen to create and deliver business cases
