Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in technical delivery with a proven record in undertaking design and architecture activities.

Responsibilities

  • Harmonize cross-domain requirements, resolve conflicts, coordinate constraints and dependencies, and arbitrate competing priorities and systemic risks.
  • Run architecture refinement forums and align roadmaps with technical runway and compliance needs.
  • Establish requirements-management practices and traceability expectations across programs.
  • Standardize architecture decision-record taxonomy and governance processes across the product line.
  • Define product-wide cloud topology, regional deployment strategy, high-availability and disaster-recovery patterns, failover, and capacity planning.
  • Approve major service choices, integration patterns, and data-plane and compute strategies.
  • Drive security-by-design and zero-trust architecture across the product line.
  • Standardize messaging, application programming interface contracts, and integration approaches across domains.
  • Define service-level indicators, service-level objectives, operational guardrails, and review deviations.
  • Mentor application architects on distributed-systems decisions and cloud trade-offs.
  • Plan evolution for scale, resilience, and cost efficiency across programs.
  • Align artificial-intelligence services and capabilities across the product line and define experimentation, rollout, validation, governance, and rollback patterns.
  • Plan capacity for graphics processing unit accelerators and control costs for artificial-intelligence workloads.
  • Standardize artificial-intelligence architecture, including registries, drift detection, and retraining cadence, and harmonize risk controls and documentation.
  • Guide adoption of emerging artificial-intelligence capabilities that fit clinical and regulatory needs.
  • Unify medical-image viewer workflows and user-experience patterns across the product line.
  • Define extensibility models and governance for plugins and software development kits.
  • Resolve viewer integration issues involving routing, session management, and state consistency.
  • Validate third-party viewer fit, vendor-selection criteria, and compliance implications.
  • Plan scalability for concurrent reading sessions and global deployments.
  • Standardize reusable user-interface libraries and workflow-service patterns across products.
  • Oversee portfolio performance service-level agreements for visualization and workflow latency.
  • Own the product and portfolio compliance posture, validation approach, observability strategy, and operational standards.
  • Define segregation of duties, access models, operational controls, disaster-recovery and business-continuity scenarios, and periodic exercises.
  • Ensure vendor-risk management and supplier controls across programs.
  • Oversee remediation plans from audits, penetration tests, and security assessments.
  • Track regulatory changes and guide their impact across the product line.
  • Define product data topology, cross-domain ownership, data contracts, application programming interfaces, and stewardship.
  • Plan replication, disaster recovery, cost, and performance for data platforms.
  • Coordinate privacy-by-design practices including anonymization and minimization.
  • Oversee data cataloging and governance, standardize data models, quality service-level agreements, and lineage policies.
  • Promote reusable datasets and semantic layers, benchmark cost and performance, and guide technology selection.
  • Plan capacity and cost for peak clinical workloads and coordinate resilience testing such as chaos and failover testing.
  • Define incident response, escalation, operational readiness, performance and resilience baselines, and scaling playbooks.
  • Benchmark and publish performance scorecards and guide investments in observability and platform features.
  • Coach architects on performance anti-patterns and remediation.
  • Chair product architecture reviews and communities of practice.
  • Align engineering leaders on roadmap, sequencing, and technical runway.
  • Set design review criteria and quality bars across domains.
  • Lead portfolio architecture governance and mentor architects.
  • Resolve systemic technical debt and duplication across products.
  • Represent architecture in portfolio investment planning and publish standards, patterns, and reference implementations.
  • Drive product and portfolio innovation themes and roadmaps.
  • Align experiments with clinical, regulatory, and operational needs.
  • Prioritize innovation investments with Product, PMO, and engineering leadership.
  • Build partnerships with vendors and start-ups for pilots and evaluations.
  • Measure return on investment and operationalization success, manage change and adoption, and scale validated patterns across products.
  • Establish metrics to compare pilots and outcomes across programs and facilitate knowledge sharing.

Perceptive Discovery secures $15M to expand radiochemistry and cell assay capabilities

Perceptive Discovery, the preclinical services division of Perceptive, has announced $15 million in strategic investments from shareholder CapVest Partners to expand its radiochemistry, cell assay and in vitro biology capabilities.
