Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited Associate Degree and/or Technical Apprentice Program in Electronics, or military equivalent training.
  • At least ten years of experience at the journeyman level, including three years of experience at the craftsman level.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and demonstrate knowledge of quality management principles.
  • Ability to understand processes and interrelationships, interpret and verify system and equipment physical condition and functional performance indicators, assess procedural compliance, compile and analyze trends, and track and resolve corrective and preventive actions.
  • Aptitude using internet-based technology and information management systems and industry-standard, full-featured office applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, email, and scheduling.
  • Ability to implement quality-control and safety plans in accordance with commercial practices, manufacturer recommendations, contract specifications, and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Ability to inspect operations and maintenance for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • A valid state driver's license is required.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Responsibilities
  • Perform ongoing work reviews to ensure all services listed in the Service Summary are performed satisfactorily.
  • Implement scheduled and unscheduled proactive procedures to identify, prevent, correct, and ensure the non-recurrence of defective services.
  • Maintain quality-control files and document the results of all inspections.
  • Identify trends involving equipment reliability, PQDRs, and repeated deficiencies found during inspections.
  • Ensure the accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness of required reports.
  • Implement program-specific quality-control and safety plans within overarching programs.
  • Inspect all phases of operations and maintenance for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards.
  • Respond to customer feedback.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by Program Management.
