About the role:
Infinitus is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst responsible for a variety of financial and operational functions and processes critical for scaling a high-growth start-up. The role will include development of financial reporting and forecasting as well as preparing analyses and presentations to support decision making by key stakeholders throughout the organization. This is a strategic and high impact role reporting to the Finance Lead.
At Infinitus, you will:
- Partner with leadership to develop company-wide forecasts and operating budgets and to prepare budget-to-actuals analyses to examine variances
- Develop reporting packages for leadership and Board of Directors to present financial results, KPIs and budget variances
- Leverage financial and operational data to build detailed reports, drive actionable strategic insights and support business decisions
- Prepare ad hoc analyses for key stakeholders to support thoughtful and data-driven decision making
- Partner with our external accounting resource to ensure timely financial reporting and to identify process standardization and improvement opportunities
- Identify, implement and manage tools and processes to automate key functions to bolster the efficiency and output of the Finance function
- Act as a trusted advisor to company leaders and staff on finance and accounting matters
- Implement best in class financial controls and policy & procedures
We are looking for someone with:
- 3+ years of professional experience within investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate finance and/or FP&A (startup experience is a large plus)
- Significant experience with financial statement preparation, analysis and budget development
- Mastery of MS Excel / Google Sheets and excellent modeling and data manipulation skills
- A knack for taking raw data, analyzing, drawing conclusions and developing actionable recommendations
- Experience with various accounting software packages (Quickbooks Online is a plus)
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Demonstrated experience in working across disciplines
Nice to have:
- CPA or similar certification

- Experience working with data visualization tools
