EisnerAmper is seeking a Senior Tax Consultant to join our State and Local Tax (SALT) practice. We are seeking someone who thrives in a growing environment and at providing clients with exceptional services.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:   

• Tax engine and billing system integration

• Product mapping

• Calculating Percent Interstate Usage (PIU)

• Exemption Certificate Management

• Managing regulatory registrations

• Maintaining voluntary disclosure agreements & back-fillings

• Tax rating projects

• SALT Compliance support

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years with tax operations or billing systems experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent field

• Experience with telecom clients

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:

• CMI (sales tax) designation a plus

• Excellent communication and organization skills

• Experience with sales tax preparation software such as Vertex or Alteryx

• Understanding of sales tax issues, including exemption certificate management, tax accruals and reserves, journal entries and use tax issue
