Requirements
  • Two years of Accounting experience
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented
  • Strong accounting and cash management skills utilizing GAAP
  • Ability to understand operations and work with a broad range of people
  • Ability to analyze and give recommendations on business operations both current and future
  • Strong Excel spreadsheet skills
  • Good communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Maintain books on QuickBooks; provide monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements to management
  • Manage all Accounting operations, which include paying vendors, issuing PO’s, invoicing customers and collection, payroll entries from a third party provider
  • Maintain accurate inventory in Ekos inventory system that matches with warehouses and QuickBooks Balance Sheet, and make sure the Cost of Goods Sold is correct on the P&L
  • Verify and deposit cash and checks into bank account, reconcile bank statements
  • File monthly, quarterly and/or annual returns with state and federal agencies ( FTB, TTB, CDTFA 1099’s, Alcohol Excise, Manufacturing, Sales & Use, and CRV taxes)
  • All licenses must be in compliance with Federal & State mandates
  • Review agreements with vendors, clients and insurance broker
  • Quarterly update of cocktail costs and pricing
  • Annual and short-term forecasting of P&L and Cash Flow
