Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University (or High School Diploma/GED with a minimum 4 years of experience in a materials management or operations position)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a materials management, operations, inventory control, or logistics role
Responsibilities
  • Support all aspects of warehousing and material management including fulfillment, transactional quality, inventory accuracy, productivity, and logistics
  • Support and be the key contact for all aspects of warehouse operations, including site services, and implementing necessary upgrades
  • Ensure operational excellence through all phases of material movement and storage
  • Assist in the responsibility for inventory, including preparing for Physical Inventory Audits
  • Support the Materials Manager with all materials fulfillment metrics, including LHFM, In-Transits, Due From, Cycle Counts, & Shopping’s.
  • Meet customer satisfaction rating through advanced planning and create ability to expedite shipments as required to meet deadlines
  • Lead efforts to update and streamline stand work practices
  • Manage expediting of shipments and delivery of vendor repair material to meet service center schedules
  • Maintain the highest level of integrity and ethics in all dealings with internal customers and outside suppliers
  • Travel required up to 25% of the time
  • Must be willing to work flex schedule, weekends, off-shifts, holidays, and OT
  • Manage weekly schedule of Material Associates
  • Manage cross training for Material’s team
  • Ensure the onboarding of new employees and support training
  • Combo leader: Responsible for all combo inventory at all sites.
  • Interlaces with KCR team and UX Planning team to determine build plan from week to week.
  • Assist CSX planner w/ forecasting.
  • Set up shipping loads for allocated combos from day to day by site and need.
  • Assists transportation spend leader to ensure all combo and radiator loads are combined and roundtripped with dirty/clean loads.
  • Ensure other assets (HVACs) are combined w/ combo loads during spikes in usage to maximize available trucking assets.
  • Constantly engaged with total account usage from week to week, YoY, etc.
  • Directly interact with sites to understand usage pattern, plans, inbound units, etc.
  • Local repair planner: Responsible for all local repair items inventory, total pool, pool add of new items, total usage, etc.
  • Reconcile total DUX w/ open POs for each/all LR items.
  • Interlace with LR buyer and vendors to keep flow of parts moving,
  • Determine accurate lead times.
  • Determine sufficient total pool for all sites based off historical usage and forecast.
  • Ensure sufficient stock across all sites.
  • Assist all sites with acquiring items as needs arise.
  • Observe trends in use & assist planning for spikes and/or dips in usage through seasonality periods.
  • Develop tools to assist in the above (Access DB, queries, crosstabs, etc.).
  • Perform scrap transactions for every site ensuring DUX are available and counts stay accurate.
