Requirements
  • 12+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 9 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 15+ years of relevant work experience
  • 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
  • Experience in design and development of large-scale information products and services with highly distributed microservices architecture
  • Extensive experience with application development with GoLang/C/C++
  • Experience in developing design for availability and resiliency, performance modelling, and capacity planning
  • Knowledge of DBMS architecture, experience on query development and best practices, in-depth architectural knowledge of at least one NoSQL/Columnar database, experience with Kafka or any other queueing system
  • Experienced technology leader with a minimum of 15+ years of software development experience with minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in design and development of large-scale information products and services with microservices architecture
  • Sound understanding of continuous integration, continuous delivery, DevSecOps model, infrastructure automation, monitoring, logging, auditing, and good knowledge of various deployment models
  • Proficient in cloud-native technologies, such as Kubernetes, Containers, microservices, Serverless, etc. (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Understand the Security requirements and standards and contemporary trends in Security risks as well as technologies
  • Experience in large scale platform delivery, large scale migration project
  • Domain experience in payment technologies or any finance domain

  • Providing technical vision and roadmap for application delivery of Open VisaNet
  • Driving the change in technology to help the application excel
  • Leading the efforts for code review and design reviews
  • Pioneering innovative solutions or extending existing solutions to meet project needs
  • Overseeing cloud migration and optimization on AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Building a sustainable framework for delivering quality product
  • Reviewing design and code for reliability and performance
  • Ensuring deliverables are scalable and design itself is scalable
  • Becoming a security champion by owning the responsibility of component security
  • Building next generation of tech leads and organizing sessions for knowledge sharing
  • Leading discussions around choice of technology or process
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams to provide guidance to OVN delivery teams
  • Communicating architectural issues and concepts to multiple organization levels and executive management
  • Championing agile best practices
