Requirements
  • Deep fluency in AI tooling and agentic systems
  • Sufficient full-stack engineering experience to build real, production-grade software
  • Prompt engineering and LLM integration including writing effective system prompts, structuring context windows, and integrating with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI); understanding token limits and tool use
  • Experience with agent orchestration; building multi-step agentic workflows
  • Understanding of agentic security posture including prompt injection risks, over-permissioned tool scopes, secrets leaking into context windows, and data exfiltration through third-party API calls; ability to scope agent access and apply least-privilege to MCP server access
  • Experience with MCP / tool & API integration; wiring internal and third-party MCP servers, REST/GraphQL APIs, and webhooks
  • Knowledge base design & retrieval-augmented generation; architecture for chunking strategy, embedding models, vector stores, and metadata design
  • Evaluations, metrics & observability for tools and agents; ability to write eval sets for LLM behavior, instrument tools with usage metrics and logging, and build observability to surface regressions; good judgment on when full eval harness is warranted
  • Lightweight full-stack / mini-app development experience
  • Cloud deployment & infrastructure basics on AWS, GCP, or Azure including containers, serverless functions, basic IAM, and environment configuration
  • Developer experience & documentation mindset; ability to write READMEs and create intuitive interfaces for internal tooling
  • Security fundamentals; authentication/authorization, secret management, API surface design, and safe exposure of internal vs external systems
  • Proficiency with Python and a typed language; Go and/or TypeScript is preferred but readability and maintainability are key
  • Comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration; ability to prototype fast and determine the right thing to build in ambiguous projects
  • 3–5 years of engineering experience
Responsibilities
  • Build the internal "intelligence OS" of Integrate — the tools, agents, automations, and conventions that compound the team's productivity over time
  • Organize our repos, docs, and conventions so that AI coding agents route correctly, find the right context, and produce high-quality output
  • Stand up and maintain internal tooling — chatbots employees use to find answers, CLI tools that support day-to-day workflows, small web apps that smooth over operational friction
  • Build and own automations around the PR review process — code quality checks, agent-driven first-pass review, security and convention enforcement
  • Partner with engineering to identify code-quality issues, ambiguous structures, or stale conventions that slow down both humans and agents, and propose fixes
  • Support the product team as they get closer to the codebase, and the design team as they work more directly in feature branches — pairing, building scaffolding, refining prompting workflows
  • Evaluate, deploy, and govern bleeding-edge AI tooling: IDE agents, evals, model gateways, MCP servers, on-prem systems
  • Audit teams proactively. Surface friction. Propose system-level fixes rather than one-off patches
  • Be the person teammates come to with questions, ideas, and half-built experiments — and the person who leads when no one is asking
  • Plan three to six months ahead for what an AI-native Integrate looks like, including on-prem and locally-run agent infrastructure for our most security-sensitive workflows
  • Contribute occasionally directly to the core application codebase when needed
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with React, Golang, GraphQL, REST, PostgreSQL, and GitHub Actions; Tailwind CSS on the frontend; familiarity with these technologies is a plus

Integrate provides a real-time, cross-boundary project management platform for complex government and defense programs. It links schedules, dependencies, decisions, and program information across multiple organizations, classification levels, and networks using one continuously synchronized schedule with precise access controls. The system is deployed on secure networks such as NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS and is designed to work alongside AI-native features while meeting strict security needs. Unlike traditional tools that use separate calendars, spreadsheets, or snapshots, Integrate shows how changes affect the entire program and what requires attention next. The platform is already used by customers like the U.S. Space Force to manage some of the most demanding and consequential programs.

Simplify Jobs

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • February 2026 Series A and August 2026 JPMorgan debt extend runway for hiring.
  • August 2026 SSIO contract expands exposure across Space Force's multi-billion-dollar portfolio.
  • NatSec100 recognition and JWICS adoption strengthen credibility with Navy, intelligence, and primes.

What critics are saying

  • Space Force concentration risks revenue if SSIO or MMO renewals slip after 2027.
  • Defense incumbents like Palantir and IBM can bundle planning into broader programs.
  • If classified deployment proves non-replicable, Integrate stays a niche workflow tool, not platform.

What makes Integrate unique

  • Deployed on JWICS, SIPR, and NIPR, Integrate crosses classification boundaries natively.
  • Space Force SSIO and MMO contracts validate mission-critical workflows across national security space.
  • Continuously synchronized schedules replace spreadsheets, giving programs real-time dependency and decision visibility.

US Space Force awards Integrate new contract as startup secures $6M debt from JPMorgan

Integrate has secured a new contract with the US Space Force's Space Systems Integration Office to support national security space systems across the entire force. The announcement comes one year after the company secured a multi-year, $25 million contract with the Space Force's Mission Manifest Office. The Seattle-based company has also closed a $6 million venture debt facility from J.P. Morgan to scale its AI-enabled project management platform. Integrate's platform enables real-time project management across security boundaries and classification levels, designed specifically for complex defence programmes. The company was named to Silicon Valley Defense Group's 2026 NatSec100 list earlier this year. Integrate's platform features automated risk discovery, dependency systems, and resource tracking capabilities for government and defence projects.
